Modern Horizons 2 introduces powerful mechanics and callbacks to beloved Magic history across two distinct themes: the return of Suspend for time-manipulation strategies, and Modular mechanics featuring artifact creatures with upgradeable power. The set revisits fan-favorite mechanics like Cascade, Evoke, and Persist while introducing new twists.

Chase cards include Solitude, a premium white removal spell; Murktide, a blue threat with Delve synergies; Territorial Kavu, a aggressive green creature; and the highly sought-after Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, a red mana acceleration powerhouse. Ledger Shredder, Subtlety, and Unholy Heat round out the premium pulls. Collectors also hunt for the rare Retro-Frame Fetch Lands—special extended-art treatments of classic dual-land tutors that appear in less than 1% of boosters, making them the ultimate chase element for set completion.
